Strange And Weird Pictures From All Over The World

World is a common name for the whole of human civilization, specifically human experience, history, or the human condition in general, worldwide, i.e. anywhere on Earth.
In a philosophical context it may refer to: (1) the whole of the physical Universe, or (2) an ontological world (see world disclosure). In a theological context, world usually refers to the material or the profane sphere, as opposed to the celestial, spiritual, transcendent or sacred. The “end of the world” refers to scenarios of the final end of human history, often in religious contexts.
World history is commonly understood as spanning the major geopolitical developments of about five millennia, from the first civilizations to the present.
World population is the sum of all human populations at any time; similarly, world economy is the sum of the economies of all societies (all countries), especially in the context of globalization. Terms like world championship, gross world product, world flags etc. also imply the sum or combination of all current-day sovereign states.
In terms such as world religion, world language, and world war, world suggests international or intercontinental scope without necessarily implying participation of the entire world.
In terms such as world map and world climate, world is used in the sense detached from human culture or civilization, referring to the planet Earth physically.

Strangest Statues That You Have Ever Seen

A statue is a sculpture in the round representing a person or persons, an animal, or an event, normally full-length, as opposed to a bust, and at least close to life-size, or larger. Its primary concern is representational.
The definition of a statue is not always clear-cut; sculptures of a person on a horse, called Equestrian statues, are certainly included, and in many cases, such as a Madonna and Child or a Pietà, a sculpture of two people will also be. A small statue, usually small enough to be picked up, is called a statuette or Figurine.
Many statues are built on commission to commemorate a historical event, or the life of an influential person. Many statues are intended as public art, exhibited outdoors or in public buildings for the edification of passers-by, with a larger magnitude than normal words could ever have for the common man.
On rare occasions, statues themselves become historic and inspire their own historic events. In 1986, when the Statue of Liberty marked her one-hundredth anniversary, a three-day centennial celebration in her honor attracted 12 million. The guest list was unique. “We invited all the great statues of the world to her birthday party and created giant puppets to represent them,” said Jeanne Fleming, director of the event. “Each one arrived accompanied by native music.”

People Wearing Strange Clothing

Clothing refers to any covering for the human body that is worn. The wearing of clothing is exclusively a human characteristic and is a feature of nearly all human societies. The amount and type of clothing worn depends on functional considerations (such as a need for warmth or protection from the elements) and social considerations. In some situations the minimum amount of clothing (such as covering of a person’s genitals) may be socially acceptable, while in others much more clothing is expected.
Clothing can serve as protection from the elements. Clothes can also enhance safety during hazardous activities such as hiking and cooking, by providing a barrier between the skin and the environment. Further, clothes can provide a hygienic barrier, keeping toxins away from the body and limiting the transmission of germs.
Clothing performs a range of social and cultural functions, such as individual, occupational and sexual differentiation, and social status. A uniform, for example, may identify civil authority figures, such as police and military personnel, or it may identify team, group or political affiliations.
In many societies, norms about clothing reflect standards of modesty, religion, gender, and social status. Clothing may also function as a form of adornment and an expression of personal taste or style.
Clothing can and has in history been made from a very wide variety of materials. Materials have ranged from leather and furs, to woven materials, to elaborate and exotic natural and synthetic fabrics.

Strangest Ways To Die

Death is the termination of thebiological functions that sustain aliving organism. The word refers both to the particular processes of life’s cessation as well as to the condition or state of a formerly living body. Phenomena which commonly bring about death include predation, malnutrition, disease, and accidents or intentional trauma resulting in terminalinjury.
The nature of death has been for millennia a central concern of the world’s religious traditions and ofphilosophical enquiry, and belief in some kind of afterlife or rebirth has been a central aspect of religious faith. In modern scientific enquiry, the origin and nature of consciousness has yet to be fully understood; any such view about the existence or non-existence of consciousness after death therefore remains speculative.
The word death comes from Old English deað, which in turn comes from Proto-Germanic *dauþaz (reconstructed by etymological analysis). This comes from the Proto-Indo-European stem *dheu- meaning the ‘Process, act, condition of dying’.
Dauþaz was reconstructed through the use of the daughter tongues of Proto-Germanic, such as doth from Old Saxon, dath from Old Frisian, dood from Dutch, tod from Old High German, dauði from Old Norse and modern-day Icelandic, död from Swedish, and dauþas from Gothic.

Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains

A shower (or shower-bath, walk-in shower, steam shower) is an area in which one bathes underneath a spray of water. The original showers were neither indoor structures nor man-made, but were common natural formations: waterfalls. The falling water rinsed the bathers completely clean and was more efficient than bathing in a traditional basin, which required manual transport of both fresh and waste water. Ancient man began to reproduce these natural phenomena by pouring jugs of water, often very cold, over themselves after washing. There has been evidence of early upper class Egyptian and Mesopotamians having indoor shower rooms where servants would bathe them in the privacy of their own homes. However, these were a far cry from modern shower facilities; they had only rudimentary drainage systems and water was carried, not pumped, into the room.

The first group of people to have showers that would be recognizable to a modern person were the ancient Greeks.Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains34Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains33Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains32Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains31Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains30Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains29Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains28Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains27Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains26Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains25Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains24Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains23Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains22Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains21Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains20Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains19Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains18Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains17Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains16Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains15Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains14Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains13Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains12Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains11Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains10Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains9Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains8Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains7Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains6Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains5Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains4Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains3Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains2Strange Wacky And Cool Shower Curtains1

Images Of Strange Cats’ Tongues

The cat (Felis catus), also known as the domestic cat or housecat to distinguish it from other felines and felids, is a small, furry, domesticated, carnivorous mammal that is valued by humans for its companionship and for its ability to hunt vermin and household pests. Cats have been associated with humans for at least 9,500 years, and are currently the most popular pet in the world. Owing to their close association with humans, cats are now found almost everywhere in the world.

Cats are similar in anatomy to the other felids, with strong, flexible bodies, quick reflexes, sharp retractable claws, and teeth adapted to killing small prey. As nocturnal predators, cats use their acute hearing and ability to see in near darkness to locate prey. Not only can cats hear sounds too faint for human ears, they can also hear sounds higher in frequency than humans can perceive.

employment hero2 150x150Employment is a contract between two parties, one being the employer and the other being the employee. An employee may be defined as: “A person in the service of another under any contract of hire, express or implied, oral or written, where the employer has the power or right to control and direct the employee in the material details of how the work is to be performed.” Black’s Law Dictionary page 471 (5th ed. 1979).

In a commercial setting, the employer conceives of a productive activity, generally with the intention of generating a profit, and the employee contributes labour to the enterprise, usually in return for payment of wages. Employment also exists in the public, non-profit and household sectors.

Celebrity parents of the year! Really?

In this celebrity-obsessed, technology-driven world, it seems that never a week goes by without another example of celebrity parents behaving badly, with the whole episode spreading like wildfire for all to see across the Internet on Twitter and celebrity blogs. Let’s face it, bad parenting is nothing new, but it seems to have gained a certain notoriety of late, with celebrities thinking nothing of bad-mouthing their kids, dangling them out of windows, and indulging in narcotics in their presence! For most “normal” mum’s, bad parenting is simply a case of leaving the house without their lipstick on, but for some household names it’s quite a worrying phenomenon.

bad celebrity parents 1

The first bad parent who springs to mind is Britney Spears – who can forget the images of her driving her kid around with no seat belt on, the naked crotch pics, the hair shaving and general wild-child lifestyle, irrespective of the fact that she had two kids to look after!

bad celebrity parents 2

Thankfully Britney seems to have done a u-turn quite literally and has turned her life around for the sake of the kids.

Another notorious example of bad celebrity parenting has to be Kate Moss – how can we forget the drinking whilst pregnant, the crazy boyfriend, the drug taking allegations and non-stop partying, they will probably have their baby sniffing nail polish. Let’s hope Kate has taken a leaf out of Britney’s book and put all of this behind her!

bad celebrity parents 3

Two celebrity dads who should hang their heads in shame are David Hasselhoff and Alec Baldwin, both of whom highly embarrassed their respective off spring recently with decidedly un-dad like behaviour. Hasselhoff’s own daughter took a video of her shirtless dad when he was totally wasted. In the video, Hasselhoff is TRYING to eat a hamburger while his daughter tells him that he cannot drink any more alcohol! Needless to say this video did the rounds on the internet.

In Alec Baldwin’s case, he left an abusive message to his 11-year-old daughter, in which he called her a “thoughtless little pig”. In the voice message that somehow was leaked to the media, he says: “I don’t give a damn that you’re 12-years-old or 11-years-old, or that you are a child, or that your mother is a thoughtless pain in the ass who doesn’t care about what you do as far as I am concerned.” Charming!

bad celebrity parents 4

Closer to home we also have the delightful Kerry Katona, who inflicted her drug-taking new husband Mark Croft on her two kids by ex husband Brian McFadden. Despite a debauched and narcotic fuelled lifestyle, she went on to have two more kids by Croft (and continued to smoke whilst pregnant). Tabloid allegations regarding their antics made headline news, but since then Kerry seems to have put the worst behind her and moved on with the help of Peter Andre’s management team and another divorce. Let’s hope so – for the kids’ sake!

bad celebrity parents 5

Two more legendary but dubious parents come in the form of Michael Jackson and Ozzy Osbourne.  No-one can forget the images of the late Michael Jackson dangling his baby over the balcony in a completely mis-judged PR stunt.

bad celebrity parents 6

And as for the Osbournes – well what a bunch of mixed up, therapy-needing, drug-addicted kids did they produce!? Kelly and Jack Osbourne’s troubles have been well-documented in the media. Their other child, Aimee, seems to have avoided such intense scrutiny and, perhaps as a result, the issues that go with it. Maybe because she saw sense and refused to appear in the fly on the wall documentary “The Osbournes”,  a series featuring the domestic life of the family, which became MTV’s biggest hit to date.

bad celebrity parents 7

Perhaps this all just goes to show that money certainly can’t buy you love, happiness or good parents!

Robocops Son

Timmy was a little boy like all the other little boys in his neighborhood. Until one fatidic day, when his mom was out, and his babysitter was too busy working out her…new dance routine in front of the camera to post on Youtube.

robocop son 1

The boy saw a great man on TV, part robot part man. Watching him fight crime and checking out all his guns, Timmy got so excited that he asked his mom to get him a Halloween costume just like that.

robocop son 2

Once he put it on this suit, he never wanted to take it off. One day, to his mother despair, he ran away from home and wondered the big city streets in search for crime. Luckily, the life is not like in the movies, and he was latter on escorted by police back to his house.

The moment of Robocop has pass through. But this week Timmy saw an episode of Inter-Galactica. Now he is in the search for a space ship.
