First off, Ronald Weinland IS a false prophet. But he hasn’t made the false prophecies you attribute to him. What he has prophesied is that Jesus Christ will returns in 2012 (formerly 2011) and that 90% of the Earth’s population will be killed by the day after Christ’s return.
Also, he lives in Kentucky, not New York. If Rotten Ronnie takes note of your post, he will have a heydey with his followers, holding it up as an example of his critics who can’t get basic facts straight.
The Mayan calendar absolutely does NOT predict the end of the world. It is simply the end of that particular cycle of calendar dates. If the Mayans were still around, they would simply be making plans to start a new calendar (and probably dealing with the equivalent of the y2K bug), but there is nothing in their calendar which states that the world is supposed to end just because their dating system resets to zero.
The myan calender ends in 2012, but thats because they used a number of calenders, all this means is that the CURRENT callender ends in 2012 and another one starts, the myans never EVER once said that 2012 will be the end of the world, you can blame that on hollywood and morons.

this is the meanest thing religious people could possibly do to us!
i mean, i like them and all, they have always been kind hearted people don’t get me wrong.
but honestly, they could KEEP IT TO THEMSELVES!!!! for damn sake! i thought you people spared our fears, but no! the world is going to end in 2012!! my opinion: A LOAD OF RUBBISH!!!!!! next time you wanna freak us out, get your facts straight!!
The mayans are right about 2012 being a unique year in our history, in deceber of that year the galactic alighnment (where the earth and the sun form a perfect alighnment with the galactic core, the mayans calculated this thousands of years ago with nothing but their minds.
“What he has prophesied is that Jesus Christ will returns in 2012 (formerly 2011) and that 90% of the Earth’s population will be killed by the day after Christ’s return.” WOW! God’s endless love impresses me more and more…
