The religious beliefs and dogmatic society traditions often drive people into ideological groups, causing them to isolate from the mainstream society and become defensive of secret beliefs. They believe themselves to be a part of some sacred mission set out to change the world and spend their lives following the teachings of their leaders. These have often given rise to many societies that work under the cover but have their roots spread across the nations. They have their secret laws and activities that are often concealed from the non-members. These organizations boast an esoteric doctrine known only to their members, and carefully concealed from the profane. So let us take a look at some of the secret societies of the world formed since ages and most still living on till date carrying out their movements secretly.
The Order of Nine Angles
The Order of Nine Angles (ONA) is an ostensible secretive Satanist organization that surfaced amongst the people of United Kingdom is 1980s and 1990s. The society professes to be the followers of Satanism and regard it as highly individualized pursuit to create self-excellence and wisdom, by facing challenges and overcoming the physical and mental limits. At present, ONA is organized around secret cells known as traditional nexions and around in its words the sinister tribes. The ONA’s writings strangely consider human sacrifice as a means of eliminating the weak and claim that its sinister tribes are an important part of its sinister strategy to fabricate a new, tribal-based, more ominous way of life, and to disturb and eventually conquer the ordinary societies of what it calls the mundanes.
Thule Society
Thule Society is the German Brotherhood of Death Society that centered on achieving New World Order that quite bizarrely in simple terms meant killing people to reduce the population. The members of Theul society were in real Satanists who practiced Black Magic and Sexual Magic. Thule Society regularly held supernatural séances, during which time they communicated with demons who were either dead person or who were just appearing as their guiding spirits. Also Adolf Hitler had joined this society in 1919 under the leadership of Dietrich Eckhart. Eckhart involved Hitler in to a vicious magic ritual that at the end left him sexually impotent that is regarded as why Hitler had become such a sadistic murderer.While I just got lucky with the source, that’s not how most of the world knows Thule Society as. Freemasonry
Going by the Wikipedia definition Freemasonry is a public spirited fraternal organization that has existed since the 17th century. Freemasonry’s central preoccupations remain charitable work within a local or wider community but the society has had a plethora of controversies and actual secrets buried deep in its long history. It has been said that Masons claim that Masonry is open to any one of any faith and that it is a brotherhood to help other Masons. But that is only to attract more people to the society. The symbol G used in their signs actually translates to Masonic gnosis or generation with their God as Lucifer and main enemy Christianity. Masons take a deadly oath rather blood oaths for each degree up to the 33rd degree. They swear allegiance to Masonry above God and country and under pain of death, swear never to reveal the secrets of Freemasonry – not even to their wives.
Skull and Bones
The Order of Skull and Bones, a Yale University society, was originally known as the Brotherhood of Death and was founded in 1832 by the students. The society is surrounded by conspiracy theories; the most popular of which is probably the idea that the CIA was built on members from the group. But another more shocking truth is that like the rest, the society hides the dark secrets of evil practices too. They incorporated sexual activities into their practices in which they lay naked in coffins telling their deepest and darkest sexual secrets as part of their initiation. Like the ONA their prime goal is New World Order. Ron Rosenbaum in his writings has also pointed out that Bones and the Bavarian Illuminists are closely linked to each other, giving evidence like ‘haunting photograph of the altar room at one of the Masonic lodges at Nuremberg that is closely associated with Illuminism.’ Shockingly President Bush is an adept in an American Brotherhood of the Yale Skull and Bones Society.
Apart from these some of the very famous secret societies of all times are Rosicrucianism, Ordo Templis Orientis, Hermetic Order of The Golden Dawn, The Knights Templar, The Illuminati, Opus Dei and the The Priory of Sion.
Assassins
Assassins were regarded as the most fearful of all secret societies that murdered every victim despite of his guards and security personnels. They carried out ruthless murders of eminent people and were feared by kings, princes, sheikhs, and sultans. Most of the initial members of the secret society were followers of the Nizari branch of the Isma Iliyya sect of Shiite Muslims and were located primarily in Syria and Persia. The society was headed by Hasan ibn Sabbah (1034-1124) who created an group composed of devotees, known as fedayeen, who did whatever he commanded with blind obedience. They appeared as simple peasants during the light of the day but turned to ferocious and highly capable warriors in the darkness of night springing on their victims from the shadows.

The “G” does not stand for “gnosis” but for Geometry. Freemasonry was originally founded from the stonemason guilds of Europe who started accepting people outside the craft in the 17th century. Freemasonry uses the symbols of analogies of stone masons still today. The square and compass symbol seen on this page shows the tools of a mason but instead of building actual structures, masons use it as a symbol for building character in men and the “G” for Geometry is used to symbolize the same thing. In America, the “G” has come to mean God but in Europe this isn’t the case as many other names for God are employed. What must be noted is that freemasonry has no authority organization. Masonic lodges in America are, at best, under the jurisdiction of a state lodge. Because of this, rituals and beliefs of all masonic bodies vary but any with radical ideas such as “worshipping Lucifer” aren’t recognized by traditional Freemasons. Freemasonry is religious in that to be a member, one has to believe in a monotheistic god but not a “religion” as discussion of religion and politics within lodges is strictly forbidden (this policy has been there for the organization’s founding so that it would not collapse as Europe was in constant religious turmoil).
In short, you are a conspiracy theorist and don’t back up your information.

Dude, you are soooo in the dark. You should really do your homework before you start yapping about it on a blog… Seriously, even the bit about the assasins is partially incorrect. Take an open mind to this subject, and start doing some objective research.

The fact that the author believes each of these groups are secretly satanists suggests to me the author is probably a fundamentalist christian just repeating the storeis told to him by his church group. There is no scholarship here at all besides a quick look at wikipedia for a tiny bit of background before surprise surprise – they’re a group of satanists.
The information about Freemasonry is wrong. So very, very wrong. As a Christian with a family member that joined the Masonic Lodge in the 80s, I investigated everything I could about the organization, for fear they were evil and satanic. To my relief, and surprise, the Freemasons ARE NOT satanists. Freemasons, including the Shriners, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, the GROTTO, Scottish Rite, York Rite, Eastern Star, et al., are nothing more than a fraternal organization, holding fund raisers for a variety of charities, and for the fellowship of like minded people. Obama is not a mason, neither were Bush 1 or 2, nor Clinton or Reagan, nor Carter or Nixon. The alleged satanic secret of the 33rd Degree Mason is a lie. The honorary degree of the 33rd is in the Scottish Rite and is awarded to a man that has spent a lot of time in furtherance of Freemasonry and its charities.
Oh, and I am not a Mason. I would join but honestly, between two jobs and a wife with cancer and two kids, I don’t have an ounce of energy left at the end of the day. I may join some day, but for now I am happy to set the record straight when I read lies that are spread through either ignorance, hatred or intellectual dishonesty.

I’m sure you’ll ask if I’m a Mason, but I’m not going to bother asking if you’re a bloody idiot.
g does not stand for gnosis nor geometry. it stands for the g force, the earth’s gravitational force. and g isn’t their symbol alone. you can see a ruler and a kind of a sextant there too. the order does charity work…why on earth would they worship the devil then?

The thing on Freemasonry is false. Several people in my family have been freemasons. There is nothing whatsoever nefarious, satanic or luciferian about freemasonry.
The old school is clear. The G is actually a replacement for the Eye.
It is an error, a distortion of the symbol. The G was introduced to balance peace in some lodges, because some did argue, the Prime Creator does not exist. Using a G, it could be translated into many things such as ‘God’, ‘G-force’, ‘Geometry’, whatever.
But it should be the Eye of the Prime Creator.
