The “G” does not stand for “gnosis” but for Geometry. Freemasonry was originally founded from the stonemason guilds of Europe who started accepting people outside the craft in the 17th century. Freemasonry uses the symbols of analogies of stone masons still today. The fact that the author believes each of these groups are secretly satanists suggests to me the author is probably a fundamentalist christian just repeating the storeis told to him by his church group. There is no scholarship here at all besides a quick look at wikipedia for a tiny bit of background before surprise surprise – they’re a group of satanists.
The information about Freemasonry is wrong. So very, very wrong. As a Christian with a family member that joined the Masonic Lodge in the 80s, I investigated everything I could about the organization, for fear they were evil and satanic. To my relief, and surprise, the Freemasons ARE NOT satanists. Freemasons, including the Shriners, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, the GROTTO, Scottish Rite, York Rite, Eastern Star, et al., are nothing more than a fraternal organization, holding fund raisers for a variety of charities, and for the fellowship of like minded people. Obama is not a mason, neither were Bush 1 or 2, nor Clinton or Reagan, nor Carter or Nixon. The alleged satanic secret of the 33rd Degree Mason is a lie. The honorary degree of the 33rd is in the Scottish Rite and is awarded to a man that has spent a lot of time in furtherance of Freemasonry and its charities.
Oh, and I am not a Mason. I would join but honestly, between two jobs and a wife with cancer and two kids, I don’t have an ounce of energy left at the end of the day. I may join some day, but for now I am happy to set the record straight when I read lies that are spread through either ignorance, hatred or intellectual dishonesty.

Can you back up your claims about the Masonic G with any evidence (that hasn’t been debunked), or are you just talking crap like so many others who want to appear to have “outsmarted” the largest and oldest of fraternities? I’m sure you’ll ask if I’m a Mason, but I’m not going to bother asking if you’re a bloody idiot.
g does not stand for gnosis nor geometry. it stands for the g force, the earth’s gravitational force. and g isn’t their symbol alone. you can see a ruler and a kind of a sextant there too. the order does charity work…why on earth would they worship the devil then?

The thing on Freemasonry is false. Several people in my family have been freemasons. There is nothing whatsoever nefarious, satanic or luciferian about freemasonry.
The old school is clear. The G is actually a replacement for the Eye.
It is an error, a distortion of the symbol. The G was introduced to balance peace in some lodges, because some did argue, the Prime Creator does not exist. Using a G, it could be translated into many things such as ‘God’, ‘G-force’, ‘Geometry’, whatever.
But it should be the Eye of the Prime Creator.
The “G” within the Square and Compasses stands for a number of things. “GOD” who is the “Creator” or in their terminology as a descendant of the builders’ guilds, “the Great Architect of the Universe”. “Geometry”, that art or science by which man may measure (by the square, compasses, rule, level, and plumb), and by that measure, understand the world given us by the “GOD” who made it. “Gnosis” which is knowledge or learning, the study of which elevates man to the understanding and interest in the “Geometry” whereby man may measure … and learn the place where man may become attuned to the message of the “GOD” so revealed.
If any of that is Satanic, maybe you have been reading the fourteenth century dogma about the Knights Templar that has every century or so been proven WRONG, retold by those seeking to destroy the unity of our Nation, and disproved again by every point in society except those looking to dominate and destroy. The first move by any tyrant is to wipe out the Masonic Lodge and their Concordant Bodies that practice democratic principles best expressed by the American Founding Fathers. Actually, from the 1717 joining of four London Masonic Lodges, and the establishment of a “United Grand Lodge” the “G” was the center of the Square and Compasses. When the concept of the Lodge spread, and new Grand Lodges established in places far from the English Speaking World, the word “GOD” did not start with the letter “G”.
Two other symbols filled the gap or it was left empty. The “All-Seeing Eye” is one, but in larger Square and Compasses images, the Eye appears over the Square and Compasses with its rays of Light (enlightenment) spreading far beyond the symbol. The second is the solar disk, whereby all that exists under the sun is illuminated (Illuminatti?) by the beneficence of Masonic Brotherhood.
There was a short-lived association of Bavarian students and professors in 1776, seeking an enlightened governance contract with the people being governed. They called themselves the Illuminati and invited the political leaders to join them. Many did, including many FreeMasons, who brought a structure to the organization. In 1785, the Bavarian “Secular Acts” outlawed such organizations including FreeMasonry. Tyrants dispose of any groups that hold views that put anything over their Governance, FreeMasonry foremost among them with their in-Lodge democratic principles of voting on their leaders. Kings and Tyrants are afraid they will be voted out, as proof that their rule is not to the benefit of the subjects. (Those who do not vote accept the tyranny of the governance.)
The phrasing and meter of our Founding Documents are similar to those of the Masonic rituals, showing the initial influence of FreeMasonry to part of our American Governance. Given that so many, and so many influenced by, FreeMasons, our Founding Fathers brought these principles into the development of our unique (at the time) form of government.
